SMP Tri-State Welcomes Our Advertisers + A Giveaway!
Here's to the weekend and here's to a fabulous meet and greet with the amazing The Clay Pot. If I told you I haven't spent hours online perusing the lovely jewelry at The Clay Pot, I'd be lying. Because this, loves, is one arts-driven boutique I am most definitely friends with. And their upcoming two-day extravaganza with designer, Anne Sportun? It's what we call a must-see.
From The Clay Pot... Join us for a 2-day exclusive shopping event with one of our favorite designers, Anne Sportun, at The Clay Pot on Friday, May 2 (4 - 7 pm) and Saturday, May 3 (11 am - 6 pm). We are so pleased to have Barbara Kelly, Anne’s business partner, here to share her love and knowledge of these one-of-a-kind wedding bands, engagement rings, and jewelry! Ideal for all the ladies (& men) in your life—the bride, bridesmaids, and mothers alike—this event comes at the perfect time for wedding season and Mother’s Day, which are just around the corner.
Since meeting in 1987, these fast friends began a long-term partnership with the creation of Experimetal Jewellery Works— Barb representing the work at international trade shows and Anne devoting her time in the studio. Anne’s jewelry ranges from the subtle wrap bracelet you can wear everyday, to the bold statement necklace. Looking to nature for inspiration, her handmade pieces burst with color and sparkle with her selection of rustic diamonds and colored gemstones.
Anne began experimenting with jewelry in the basement of her childhood home with her father's shop tools. She successfully delivered her first wholesale order in 1981 at the tender age of sixteen. Her contribution to the art of jewelry making was even honored by a Canadian postage stamp featuring the image of her hands and jewelry in 2003!
Welcome to the family, The Clay Pot! We are so happy to have you! xo
