When Wayne got deployed 9 months before the wedding, Christina was left to plan their dream day on her own. But with Blue Ridge Floral Design and Amore Events By Cody by her side, every detail turned out as perfect as they’d both imagined – plus then some. From Aaron Watson Photography… For some couples, time is of the essence when it comes to planning their wedding details. This was especially the case for Christina and Wayne who were simultaneously preparing for their “I do’s” along with Wayne’s nine month deployment.
Christina and Wayne wanted to create an atmosphere that was pure celebration from beginning to end. The sun kissed skies and rolling mountains of Pippin Hill Farm ended up serving as the idyllic location to complement their fairytale, rustic theme.
Just before he deployed, Wayne suggested sage as the perfect pop of color to accent the buttercream palette his bride-to-be adored. While she loved this idea, she also added deep violet hues to the mix after her flower girl selected a purple tutu as her dress. These shades worked together perfectly, and also served as inspiration for much of the DIY décor.
After months of separation, it’s no surprise that Christina and Wayne’s favorite memory was Christina’s emotional walk down the aisle. It was this moment where time finally froze and they were able to immerse themselves in all of the love that surrounded them.
