Ever wonder why we post photoshoots instead of just real weddings? Other than the fact that we love the details found within most shoots, the answer is simple. We love to see artists and vendors and designers having full reign on creativity. So seeing what Alicia Lucia conceptualized based on what she was spotting on the runways with this next shoot, was a total wedding treat for us.
From Alicia Lucia…Initially, my VISUAL idea was to exclusively shoot a piece on 2014 wedding BEAUTY trends: a modern indie bride, smokey eye, soft lip, long soft curls with peek a boo highlights, done thats it. But, I was also passionate about incorporating the wardrobe trends of crop tops and maxi skirts i’m seeing all over the place, so I got a local boutique on board who found a gorgeous cropped lace shirt, with scalloped sleeve detail and a beautiful lace maxi skirt.
I also LOVEEEE that cascading bouquets are making there way back into the wedding trends so I reached out to a fabulous local florist who created some out of this world, beautiful floral halo and cascading bouquet.
