Lots and lots of white with pops of bright beautiful color. It’s the recipe for a stunning wedding, and when those pops of color come in the form of a stunning floral design from Three Sisters Flowers, the resulting day is something I’ve only ever dreamt of. The pictures from Meg Sexton are my new favorite midday indulgence!
From the stunning bride… Cory grew up in Cupertino while I grew up in Palo Alto and as we are both children of Silicon Valley it seemed fitting that we met each other on Match.com. We just so happened to work across the street from each other when we met, so our first date was lunch at a restaurant close to our offices. We laughed so hard; it was one of those meetings were we both felt like we’d found something really special.
We fell in love with our venue the moment we saw it. It had a quiet area with redwoods (which Cory loves) for the ceremony and a beautiful circular courtyard with a tree in the center and lots of sunlight for our reception (which of course I love). Our wedding day was an absolute blast and was filled with lots of love, family, friends, and dancing. Our family was integrated into our event as well, from a brother who is a bassoonist setting the ambiance after the ceremony, to our parents and grandparents giving readings during the ceremony, to My sister who played the officiant marrying us. We were so grateful to be able to share our special day with all the people that we love.
