Husband and wife duos like these two make my heart turn into a pile of mush. Their wedding was a personality-packed love fest, with bits of whimsy and darling DIY details sprinkled throughout for good measure. It’s worthy of every last moment of your weekend, and you can catch all the goodness captured by This Love Of Yours Photography right here.
From the Bride…When we first talked about how we wanted this day to translate, the immediate consensus was great big dinner party with our friends and family from all of parts of our lives (high school, college, NY, baseball, etc.). We really wanted the day to be as intimate and personal as we could make it, but fun and filled with great energy. The most important aspect and theme of our day was EAT. LIVE. LOVE. REPEAT. (on our tea towels that we gave as favors to each guest)
EAT Weve been blessed to live in two of the best food cities, NY & SF. Our enthusiasm to seek out the cities’ best meals has always been with our foodie friends and family. We wanted to replicate these times with that feeling of a dinner party. An easy choice for us was to serve dinner family style and with a long tables for 16 guests. Our caterer, Culinary Eye was extremely easy to work with and they helped us build a customized menu that was reflective of our meal experiences from both coasts. To top it off, they even made our ice cream bar salted caramel, peach, olive oil and cereal milk (one of our favorites from Momofuku in NYC). Everyone was raving about it! LIVE A wedding celebration to us should be a true reflection of the couple. Like a painter with a blank canvas, Easley Ranch allowed us complete freedom to produce every part of the reception without tying us to any specific vendors. With minimal guidelines we were able to hand select an amazing team of vendors that brought our vision to life. LOVE Love is personal, sincere and involves a community of friends and family. We were able to incorporate many personal touches throughout the day with our personal vows, design and production of the ceremony/reception and DIY elements to make it a unique celebration.
REPEAT Lets do it again! One thing I would definitely recommend to all planning brides is to embrace the process and enjoy the journey. Don’t let the wedding planning be bigger than you guys! We said this from the beginning and both felt at ease going into the day. We trusted all of our vendors and knew that we were all on the same page about our vision.
