When two fashion industry pros tie the knot, great wedding style is a given. And this WaterColor Inn & Resort soiree is all that plus much, much more. Think pink and coral colored details alongside a row of sparkling ‘maids, all set in pure, seaside romance. From Lauren Kinsey… Ashley and Santiago are from Bogota Colombia. They met and got engaged in Manhattan, New York. Both Ashley and Santi work in the fashion industry, Ashley at French Connection and Santi working for the family business (Bosi, a South American shoe company that his father started). Ashley has an amazing sense of style, so Ashley had all of her bridesmaids shoes custom made for the wedding, including her own shoes (I have shoe envy on this wedding!).
She also hand-made the watercolor escort cards. They chose Watercolor, Florida for their wedding because Ashley grew up in Destin, and they wanted to have a true destination wedding for their 160 guests, since most came from South America for the wedding. After the ceremony, guests were treated to some very tasty signature cocktails before walking back over the beautiful bridge at sunset where they enjoyed an evening of dancing and delicious food at the Lakehouse. Ashley and Santi even flew in the Salsa band, Tartara, from Miami Beach to entertain!
