From Mason And Megan PhotographyWe are excited to submit this gorgeous wedding to you! Every detail was perfected to the style of Nate and Jenna, from the bride’s unique wedding dress and pink wedding ring to the touches of colorful goblets at each place setting. Flowers were everywhere, bringing life to each table and a smell of Spring in the air. You would never know this wedding was in November because Jenna brought light and warmth to the venue. Jenna and Nate’s wedding is creative and full of life! We hope you love this beautiful wedding and fun-loving couple!

From the Bride…Nate and I were only engaged for 4 months, so we had to make some quick decisions for our wedding day. The good thing was that I knew exactly the style I loved, my own little “Jenna version” of a woodland garden party. I saw our wedding as a blank canvas, and I had 4 months to perfect anything and everything that I felt would create the perfect painting of a woodland garden wedding. And it was such fun! I found what I loved and I went with it…the Madwell floral bridesmaids dresses were the only ones I ever looked at. My wedding dress was the only one I ever tried on from Peppermint Pretty, made for modern brides with a strong sense of style. My talented mother collected vintages brooches to create the spectacular brooch for the back of my sash. I picked the most uniquely beautiful things within my reach. If I ever had the option of plain or patterned, I always picked patterned. If the pallet in front of me was ivory or floral, I always picked floral. I wanted bursts of color and pattern everywhere, and picked everything in muted pastels as my color scheme. I wanted people to walk into the The Newland Barn and feel like it was magical, light, colorful, natural, unique, really just all together whimsical. I told our florist, Magnolia Designs, that I wanted flowers…literally e-v-e-r-ywhere…and that she did! With the flowers, I brought pieces of the great outdoors into a small garden with woodblocks and moss spread throughout the tables of desserts. I know most people say their details made their wedding stand out, but I think the details that made our wedding special were the unexpected ones like having colored goblets as our water glasses. I wanted guests to be surprised with the small things we decided to make unique, like the silverware or gold rimmed plates which as usually left plain. It’s the simple things they usually go untouched but I wanted every inch of the place to be different- even down to my husband’s JCrew colorful plaid shirt! I may hate that shirt in 30 years, but as for now, I think it was just another part of our day that reflected who we want to be as a couple- out of the ordinary, surprisingly lovely, and a whole of a lot of fun!
