I love a girl who can rock a flannel and a wedding dress. It proves to be an amazing combo in this snow-filled Bridal shoot captured by Apples & Honey Photography. It’s so cute it almost, almost has me wishing for one last snow storm; emphasis on the almost. See even more right here.
Allie and I had talked at length about doing a simple bridal shoot with an incredibly relaxed feel that tied together her engagement photos and her gorgeous wedding day. Brides love any chance to put back on that perfect dress and I wanted to give Allie the perfect reason to do just that!
The bride wore the red plaid shirt from her engagement session and the gorgeous lace gown from her wedding this past August! Something about the crisp white snow covered pine trees made for the *perfect* backdrop! I knew I wanted to add a bit more color with a halo for her hair and a wintery bouquet of sorts. A trip to Michaels and some DIY action was all it took to create the red berry head piece and the wintery themed bouquet; which was made up of golden branches, shimmery artichokes, white flowers, and red berries, all wrapped together with classic jute. Snow can be magical to shoot in, and brides are beautiful long after their wedding day! I hope this session showcases just that!
