Montgomery Hill Park Anniversary Session
I think anniversary sessions should be mandatory for every married couple. It's a beautiful way to document love through the years, and today we've got one session so cute, you'll be convinced to plan your own. The amazing Majesta Patterson snapped the pretty and you can see their entire first-year celebration right over here.
From Majesta Patterson... When Chandra contacted me 9 months before her anniversary to take pictures of her and her new husband, I knew documenting her and Brandon's love was important, but I didn't know how beautiful her plan was until we met up at Montgomery Hill! Adorned with macaroons, some wild looking orchids amongst other props from their wedding, they celebrated by cutting into cake, lighting a sparkler and snuggling on a lace blanket under an oak tree.
Traditional gifts for your first anniversary are paper-related and a more modern take insists on clocks or "time" related gifts. So, Chandra included elements of paper, their napkins from their wedding as well as a paper chevron table runner, and a clock to represent the modern and tradition of their first year of marriage.
She even had a bouquet made and brought milk in jars with paper straws to drink with their cake. It was all so thoughtful and very sweet, I just had to share!
