We know the beauty of a barn wedding like the back of our hands; the approachable design mingled with a weathered backdrop. But what we don’t come across too often is a barn wedding gone classic. With all white blooms by Blue Ridge Floral and a decidedly formal twist, this Virginia affair is proving that barn doesn’t necessarily mean rustic. The entire day was Classic Virginia! The Bride and Groom had their ceremony at the Chapel at UVA, their Alma Mater. The Bride chose shades of blue for the Bridesmaids to wear that complimented the Oranges and Yellows of the leaves so well. The Reception was at the Barn at Verulam Farm. All the flowers were gorgeous creams, whites and greens.
One of the most special parts of the day was the Bride’s veil that her Grandmother purchased in France and worn by her and the Bride’s mother on their wedding days as well. It was stunning!
Frances is from Alabama, and Andrew is from Virginia. I love how they honored both states with their Cake Topper!
