Ethereal + Natural Wedding Ideas

Call me ahead of the trends (I call it luck), but I've been collecting geodes for as long as I can remember, which makes this inspiration shoot one of my favorites yet. It's ethereal and beautiful, with a kick of spunk as captured by Samantha Bonpensiero Photography 's lens, and the best part is: there is even more here.

From the photographer... Our ethereal inspired shoot stands out from the crowd and provides an intimate and textured sophistication. We chose natural elements like wood, various mosses, textured pottery and slate to set the tone at the table. Succulents, & Protea helped amped up the texture level while keeping the color palette subdued. We didn’t limit sensory experience of the table scape to visual texture though. The contrast of the rough natural elements with smooth colorless glass dishes & a slick Primordial Martini (white chocolate & hazelnut liqueurs with vodka) brings a sense of sophistication to the scene. Thinking that martini sounds yummy? Check out the geodes. These beautiful DIY pieces are solid vanilla sugar crystals coated in white chocolate, and dusted in mixed sugars with a hint of sea salt. Other handmade touches like the mini vase table number, metallic place cards, primitive art rocks, layered glass candle centerpiece, and wild wire accent were added for layers of detail to create a more personal and creative approach to the weddings décor. All of these projects are doable with just a little bit of time and even less money. Our shoot would be the perfect inspiration for the bride and groom wanting a sophisticated and stunning ethereal wedding.
