Blush Pink Sand Rock Farm Wedding
As much as I looove a great blush infused wedding moment or flowers by Laughin' Gal Floral that give me a case of serious Spring fever, it's the couple behind this affair that really makes it sparkle. They're beyond adorable and oh so in love, infusing their wedding day with a big dose of personality and a whole lot of candy for good measure. From the Bride April... This is so cliche, and it's probably cliche to say it's cliche, but our wedding was everything I always dreamed it would be. Like many girls, I pretty much started planning my wedding from birth. When it came time to finally get serious about planning, in other words, when I actually had a fiance, I was so excited to bring all of these ideas to life! A couple weeks after we got engaged, Ben moved up to our new place in Portland, while I stayed behind to get as much planning done as I could. It was a little bit overwhelming at first, but with Ben's help and input and my mom there with me at every vendor appointment, I knew that our wedding was going to be absolutely perfect.
I've always been an artistic gal, and we knew we wanted to incorporate that into the wedding. It's those special touches that we felt were the most meaningful. I created a few hand lettered signs, and put together a fun and unique guestbook table, which I came up with completely on my own. Ok, maybe I saw it on Pinterest. We also incorporated a little bit of Portland in the decor, since we are recent Pacific Northwest transplants, and we showcased my extreme sweet tooth with a home made candy bar and Ben's love of pigs with marzipan pig favors and cake toppers.
Not only was our wedding day perfect and special, but the whole weekend was an experience that will never be topped. Having our bridal party, who are all our closest friends, come from around the country to spend the weekend with us at Sand Rock Farm was a memory we will both cherish forever. At the end of the day, there is nothing we would have changed (except maybe more candy).
