From Jae Photo & Design…Josh and Jena’s wedding was popping with bright yellows, oranges, and peaches on a day that could be considered a “typical” Southern California day! Really, there is nothing like 95 degrees in October. Despite the heat, the day was created for a wedding.

With the eye of an Architect and the mind of an Engineer, Josh and Jena’s wedding was destined for creativity! Jena carefully planned (and mapped out- dimensions and all!) every placement of every detail that would please the eye inside Chino’s Local Small Airport that would go so perfectly with Josh’s passion and love for planes! Chino, once known for their vast dairies and oh so lovely cow smell, is home to the Chino Airport where some of the most impressive historic planes are kept, restored, and still living! And inside that tiny airport is Cal Aero Aviation Country Club that was voted best Architectural Design. Designed as a throwback to the “Golden Age” of aviation, this strikingly beautiful facility is a reproduction of a 1930’s hangar, complete with vintage aircraft and aviation artifacts and memorabilia. It was perfect for what Josh and Jena.

The venue offered more detail and more architectural pleasing aspects that would help a wedding with a budget! They kept their decor simple yet bright so that it would fit and flow with Cal Aero’s already impressive and creative decor, instead of competing. The warmth and brightness of the photos speak for themselves for this wedding!

From the Bride…We spent over a year planning our wedding and it turned out even more perfect than we could have ever imagined. So many of our friends and family pitched in and brought everything together to create the wedding of our dreams. The best advice I’d have for future brides is really not to sweat the small stuff. I spent so much time obsessing over details that never happened but in the end it turned out better than expected.
