Maybe it’s because we’re the Sex and the City generation, but every single one of us ladies at the SMP offices is crazy for everything Manhattan, so this Upper West Side engagement session from Gabe Aceves has been the topic of conversation all day. It’s chic, it’s romantic, and it’s the prettiest. And it’s all right here.
From the bride to be… Brett and I live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It’s where all of our first dates took place, where we became adults, where we fell in love, and where Brett proposed! When brainstorming for our engagement session, we really wanted it to be reflective of us as a couple and couldn’t think of a better location than our very own neighborhood.
We began shooting right on our block and on the nearby brownstone lined streets, and eventually worked our way through Central Park to Sheep’s Meadow, the location of our first date and where Brett proposed!
Gabe Aceves did such an incredible job capturing our love, giggles, and beautiful neighborhood in the fall.
