Colorful Farm to Table Wedding Inspiration

If I wasn’t craving springtime already, this gorgeous shoot from Ashlee Little Weddings + Events and Kendall Lynnette Photography will have me begging Punxsutawney Phil to rethink his prediction of an early spring. Sitting in this gallery is everything I just adore about that wonderful season – bright blooms, pretty dresses and farm to table dinners – so if you need me today, I’ll be devouring all the goodness right here.

From Ashlee Little Weddings + EventsThere is something about picking a tomato right off the vine on a hot afternoon in North Carolina, the steam rising from the ground following an afternoon rain shower, and shucking corn right on your front porch. The soil in the South has a certain richness to it that cultivates a beautiful final product. Our styled shoot celebrates the ability to take product from the ground straight to your plate – Farm to Table.

Set at a fabulous private residence in Durham, North Carolina, the white-washed farm table from Simply Put Vintage Rentals featured bountiful vegetables, fresh-cut blooms, and vintage place settings. A gorgeous mustard colored settee and other furniture details provided a beautiful backdrop for our bride and bridesmaids. Carrying hand tied bouquets of dahlias, chrysanthemums, zinnias, and celosia, our bridesmaids wore casual dresses from LaMaLu Boutique with bow back details. The bride wore a champagne colored gown with an ivory lace overlay, and her hair featured a gorgeous braided crown detail.

The final product has us ready to put on our cowboy boots and pull a chair up to the table!
