Colorful Garden Party Wedding
Believe you me, it doesn't get much sweeter than this beautiful Queensland wedding. Because this is the kind of wedding where a gorgeous garden party, fun-filled lawn games and the fab stylings of Love Bird Weddings team up to create an affair that is sooo heartwarming and sooo pretty, it's almost too awesome to believe. See it all captured by Calli B Photography in the full gallery.
And a beautiful film from Jasper And Ruby Visions...
From the Bride... Our vision was to have a romantic, elegant and fun wedding, a touch away from the traditional, with quirky and rustic notes.
Our garden party was a reflection of this with lawn games, a brilliant antipasti station and vintage furniture that allowed our guests to play and mingle in the afternoon sun.
Inside the restaurant we gave our guests the pleasure of choosing their own main meal of which we had nothing but good reports and a dessert table that saw even those non-dessert fans tucking into lemon tarts, mini pavs, pecan pie and chocolate brownies.
Our bridal table was another great styling point by Trudy where we gave her the brief that we wanted our bridal party partners to also join us on the table.
We danced and celebrated into the night and were the last to leave.
From Love Bird Weddings... Our brief was to create a wedding design that reflected Jemma & Cameron’s personal style... Relaxed, warm and fun, rustic, intimate, original and Beautiful
We used a base colour of white and ivory, which we added accents of cream, beige, latte, coffee and natural woods as the base rustic colours teamed with pops of rustic colour such as butter yellow, soft apricot, orange, dusty pink, rose, lavender and pale blue with lots of green foliage.
The Garden Party was a big focus for Jemma & Cameron who wanted to spend the afternoon playing games in it, and the late evening chilling out in it. Elements of the design included:
-An entry welcome board
-Games of croquet and horseshoes
-Relaxing lounge furniture in an eclectic mix of French Provincial, Rattan and Natural wooden rustic pieces
-Exposed globes to light up the night
-colourful lanterns and Swarvoski crystals adorning the trees
-hanging polaroid photo feature
-wooden postbox wishing well
-super large antipasto table
The reception design included:
- A custom made wooden bridal table with mix and match Hampton chairs for all 16 of the bridal party and their partners
- Burlap and lace table runners
- Taper candlesticks
- Rustic floral designs
- Ferrero Rocher chocolate bonbonniere
- The menus and placecards were handmade by the Groom
- A dessert table featured an eclectic mix of cake stands such as old suitcases, a set of vintage scales, and a rustic log
When we returned at midnight for packdown, it was so lovely to see the guests draped over the lounge furniture, still chatting, but clearly winding down after what was an amazing day for them.
