From the Bride to be...After over a decade of friendship, love, and laughter we are finally getting hitched. Matt and I met at San Jose State University where we both went to college. Matt was on the baseball team, and I played water polo. After dating for a few years Matt was drafted by the NY Mets in 2004 and our relationship went longer distance for the next seven years. We got engaged in Carmel, CA in May 2013 and will be married at Holman Ranch, in Carmel Valley, CA April 2014.
Being an event planner and in a relationship for over a decade I have had plenty of time to envision our special day and most recently our engagement shoot. Holman Ranch is pretty hard to compete with as a photo backdrop, so for our engagement photos I wanted a more simplistic setting. Erika and Michael of This Love of Yours Photography specialize in romantic, natural light photos that have that glowing effect. I knew they were the perfect photographers to capture this vision I had in my head. After months of pinning ideas and sharing them with Erika, she was pretty clear of what I wanted.
