Long Beach Budget Wedding

From the Bride and Groom... When we began planning our wedding, we had to consider the fact that we wanted to have a gorgeous and intimate wedding while still being on a pretty tight budget. The thought of a DIY wedding of sorts was daunting at first, however we figured out how to be resourceful and were aided by the talent and generosity of friends and family.
We both agreed that our favorite parts of the day were the moments we had between just the two of us. Our first look was incredible (thanks Josh and Meg!), we would absolutely recommend it for anyone who is on the fence about it- it was an intimate and joyful time in which we got to get excited together for the rest of the day to come. Our other favorite moment was during the reception when we got to sit back and enjoy the company of our family and closest friends who were all there to celebrate our marriage.
Some advice to those of you who are planning right now: those moments and the vows you make that day are what end up being the most important parts of the whole event. Keep it simple, focus on what is most important to you, and know that no matter how stressful it can get, at the end of that day you’ll be married and that is what matters!
