Valentine's Day Anniversary Shoot
I can think of few things more romantic than an anniversary session, and this one from the talented Mirelle Carmichael just about takes the cake. Because this isn't just any anniversary shoot, it's an amazing gift from a loving husband chock-full of wonderful moments and drop-dead gorgeous blooms. Oh, and their anniversary? Valentine's Day. We love these two. Click here for more.
From Mirelle Carmichael Photography... Jeff and Berdette will be celebrating their five year wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day. Jeff wanted to surprise Berdette with hair and makeup by the talented Jessi Skipton-Campbell, and a beautiful late afternoon photo shoot by their good friend, Mirelle Carmichael. Berdette wore a vintage wedding gown belonging to Mirelle, and her hair was adorned with floral wreaths (the pink one is by San Luis Obispo artist Asha Hickerson, and the red one is by florist Huong Hopp of Backporch Flowers in Santa Maria).
The flowers used in the bouquet and head wreath by Huong Hopp of Backporch Flowers were pink ice protea, roses, red anemone, Queen Anne's lace, flowering cabbage, and blue thistle. The greenery was a combination of dusty miller, magnolia leaves, asparagus fern put together with river birch stems.
From the Groom... I met my beautiful wife in 2006 when I visited the Philippines. My parents introduced us and she immediately swept me off of my feet with her beauty, simplicity and kindness. I had never met a woman like her in my life. Three years later, we got married. Because of her, my life has definitely changed for the best. I'm the happiest man in the world. She is my queen and I plan to always treat her like royalty. As a photographer in the wedding industry, I always want our photos taken every anniversary. Since this year will our 5th year anniversary, I wanted it to be a little more special. Thanks to Mirelle Carmichael and her talented team, my wife looked amazing!
