It’s not every day that an engagement session so beautiful I want to frame – no – wallpaper my house with every single image, but today is that day. Closer To Love Photography sent along a Joshua Tree sesh that is beyond beautiful and I’m really, really obsessed with the pretty.
From the photographer… Joanna and Anthony are a rare couple. So rare, that I knew I wanted to go on a road trip with them upon minutes of meeting them! The reason being, I knew there was so much more I wanted to discover about these two, and I knew just from the little time that we spent during our initial meeting that we would have a blast together! Joanna and Anthony are both performers and met onstage playing romantic opposites. They quickly realized that they had so much in common beyond performing and their work relationship slowly transitioned into a much stronger and significant relationship.
Toward the end of our Session in Joshua Tree, we had a candle that we wanted to incorporate in our images as the sun began to slowly set. I handed Joanna the candle and asked her to hold it so I can snap a few photos. As she did, she looked like an angel. I looked behind me to find tears streaming down Anthony’s face. Perhaps I had caught a glimpse of what Anthony had realized the moment he met her – he is about to marry his angel. That moment was truly a moment I will never forget. These two are so in love with each other it is ridiculously contagious. Their laughter. Their interaction. The look they have when they look into each other’s eyes. Everything about their relationship is beautiful and pure.
