Consuming prettiness is part of the job description at SMP, and today I am thanking my lucky stars that my job is to simply eat up every single gorgeous detail of this stunning shoot designed by Victoria Cameron and captured by Feather + Stone. Honestly, there are no words. The dress from MXM Couture? To die. The florals from The French Petal? Ridiculous. Honestly, everything in this gallery is beyond, and you can see it all here.
From Victoria Cameron…The wonderfully talented Seth and Tenielle from Feather + Stone held their first photography Field Day (a condensed version of their popular Field Trips) in early October and I was lucky enough to be invited to coordinate and design the day.
With the private estate Gurragawee as the backdrop the opportunities were endless. Inspired by neutral tones and muted silks, a restrained elegance paired with refined French Provincial touches was adopted for the styling.
Timber French bistro chairs tied with loosely structured floral arrangements lined the aisle with the ceremony arbor adorned in flowing neutral fabric and a muted green foliage chandelier (how amazing is this?!) providing the perfect backdrop.
Move on to the reception and you have beautiful buttoned lounges and ottomans positioned to the side of the gorgeous table setting. Using a base of luxurious brown sugar silk, unstructured floral arrangements and brass candle holders lined the table. Layered off-white base plates held what has to be my personal favourite styling element…the oatmeal linen napkins loosely bundled and holding the stunning calligraphy place cards (though I do also love the sweet escort card display).
With the beautiful bride wearing a couture MXM gown (it was seriously breathtaking!) and the groom in a classic Wil Valor suit it was a memorable and enjoyable day for all involved.
