Our love affair with renowned wedding photographer Jose Villa goes way back. Because aside from his incredible imagery, I really believe that our passion for all things Jose comes from his working alongside equally incredible teams – Joel Serrato for one. Kate of Flowerwild, who did the event design for this insanely beautiful affair, for example. The people that help to build the weddings – like this one – that Jose then captures flawlessly. And there’s so much more here in the gallery.

From the Bride… I feel so grateful to have worked with the vendors I did… picking Jose, Joel and Kate was so easy – not only are they superbly talented, but they make you feel like you are among friends. This was especially important to Drew and I when it came to film and video, since we are not accustomed to having our pictures taken! I loved Kate Holt’s work and gave her a general idea of what I wanted, but she really made it come to life in a way that I could have never imagined. When I first saw the barn, it was so beautiful I cried! Alissa Mazzenga of Feast Calligraphy did a beautiful job with our paper, and my super talented sister-in-law made our gorgeous welcome bag paper as well as our programs. Kate Winn, our planner, helped to keep it all together and kept me as stress free as possible – not an easy task with a Type A bride like myself.

My mom reminded me often through the planning process that it isn’t about the wedding… it is about the marriage. She couldn’t have been more right – I am so grateful to be married to the kindest, smartest, funniest, hunkiest guy I know – but I am also glad we had such a magical day to share with our closest family and friends.
