Pink Pala Mesa Resort Wedding
At heart, I'm a girl's girl. You know the type. The girl who never says no to a glass of champagne, and embraces pink of every single shade. From the Bride... Joey's dad officiated the ceremony which was so special and personal. I wore my grandmother's jewelry and one of her broach's on my bouquet. We also had a table with our parent's, grandparent's, and great-grandparent's wedding pictures displayed. That was really special.
My favorite moment was when Joey and I just sat down for dinner at the reception. I had my new husband sitting next to me and all of our best friends by our side. I just looked out at our guests and everything was so beautiful. The flowers, the tent, my favorite songs playing, and seeing all of our friends and family fill the room just moved me to tears. It was such an exciting and special day. But I'll never forget that moment.
Just remember that it is only ONE day! Although it is a day you will never forget and by far the best day I've ever experienced so far, the time does not stop and the day is over before you know it, so don't sweat the small stuff. Work hard on planning your day exactly how you want it, but if something doesn't go according to plan or you didn't finish all the DIY projects that you wanted to, it's ok. It will still be beautiful and at the end of the day you will be married!
