About Julie Saad Photography... After photographing her first wedding, for a close friend, Brooklyn-based artist Julie Saad couldn’t stop looking at the photos she’d taken. Mesmerized by the amount of love, beauty, and laughter contained in the pictures, she realized that wedding photography was her favorite type of imagery to create.
As she continued to work passionately to produce stunning and heartfelt depictions of couples tying the knot, her career blossomed into an international one, where she photographed not only weddings in the United States but in Mexico, India, Oman, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
Determined to devote herself further to her craft, Julie completed a master’s degree in digital photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is one of only a few working photographers today with an advanced degree in this particular field, and is an expert in digital imaging and the special considerations needed to work successfully within the medium.
Julie has photographed over one hundred weddings. Her style draws on the traditions of fashion and editorial photography and photojournalism, combining an ability to formulate jaw-dropping portraits with a talent for capturing the spontaneous eruptions of bliss that tend to happen on a wedding day.
In addition to receiving praise for her beautiful photos, Julie’s clients applaud her for her attentiveness and enthusiasm. As a hopeless romantic herself, she is always more than thrilled to talk about a couple’s wedding day with them many times over, making sure that she understands their unique needs and desires. By accepting only a limited number of bookings per year, she ensures that she will have more than enough time to devote to delivering the best possible experience for her beloved clients.
