Woodland Wedding Inspiration + WIUP
As the final bits of January slowly slip away, nothing sounds lovelier than cuddling up in a setting just like this. Designed in the hands of Shelter Co, The Aerialist Press, Creative Lighting Design + a top notch crew, it's the kind of shoot that just might inspire your wedding or weekend plans alike. From engaged & inspired... This vignette was created for a bridal event called The Lab Event which takes place in the San Francisco area each year. This team of Northern California professionals was paired together to create a 20x20 space filled with inspiration for over 150 engaged couples to walk through and engage with. Engaged couples come to this event looking to put together their perfect vendor team as well as find inspiration for their upcoming wedding.
The Lab Event held a contest for brides to put together inspiration boards and we picked several winners and brought their boards to life! The theme for this styled shoot was "Woodland" with the tented lounge being the main inspiration behind the rest of the design. Shelter Co. is a popup camping experience perfect for events and weddings. Inside the tent is a trendy lounge area filled with mid-century modern furniture and accents. She also created a firepit lounge complete with butterfly chairs and blankets.
The theme of outdoor elements was carried throughout the space with the floral being mostly greenery and white tones. Floral Theory used many different kinds of flowing and textured greenery to create the feel of outdoors but with a very elegant twist.
The tablescape was pulled together with a similar palette and included a lot of brass elements and candlelight. Aerialist Press created the perfect invitation suite for this design with a woodland and lantern themed suite. Fox & Fawn Bakehouse created a set up very simple cakes to match the very organic theme of the space and also pulled together a hot cocoa bar perfect for a camping or outdoor themed wedding.
