Here’s the easiest thing you’ll do all Thursday: fall in love with this gorgeous wedding. A wedding that seamlessly merges rustic elegance with classic details in the prettiest of ways. It’s lush pink blooms from Elinor Doyle Florist meets the stunning setting that is Honey Lake Plantation Resort and Spa meets all kinds of beautiful imagery from Caroline Maxcy Photography. See it all here.
From Caroline Maxcy Photography… Courtney and Dustin’s day and entire weekend was sweet and southern and love-filled through and through. You couldn’t have asked for a more naturally gorgeous location and a more genuine, laid-back and charming pair at the center of it all.
From the Bride… We chose a destination wedding because we wanted a small intimate ceremony. I wanted a location that had it ALL… meaning the chapel, reception, lodging, food and a wedding planner. I didn’t want our guest to need to leave the property at all. We only had to bring in our decorations, DJ, cake and photographer. Most of all, I just wanted it to be simple and beautiful. Honey Lake met ALL of those requirements, it actually exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We had approximately 85 guests total on the property (including the photographers and our preacher). Our wedding was absolute perfection!! Exactly what we wanted! The photographer and venue were the best two decisions we made about our wedding. I honestly wouldn’t have changed anything.
