Without a doubt, Charleston is a city just made for marrying. It’s a place where breathtaking backdrops and Southern traditions merge seamlessly with whimsical details and just a touch of modern style. In other words, it’s pure, unadulterated wedding perfection, and this darling Lowndes Grove Plantation affair captured by Dana Cubbage Weddings is all that and so much more. See it all here.
From Dana Cubbage Weddings… Lauren and Kyle were married at my favorite venue – Lowndes Grove Plantation in Charleston, SC on November 23, 2013. It was the perfect ending to my 2013 wedding season and we couldn’t have gotten any more lucky with the weather. Showers sprinkled the area throughout the day, but the skies cleared for their beautiful outdoor ceremony and allowed us to get some beautiful images on the property before sunset. With temperatures in the low 70’s, it was an amazing fall day in Charleston!
Meredith Severs of Sweetgrass Social worked with Lauren to create a fun yet elegant wedding with subtle southern touches that guests will remember for sure. Tables were adorned with burlap runners, candles, beautiful glass vases + AMAZING florals from Branch Design Studio. Bridesmaids wore charcoal gray dresses and held colorful bouquets that really stole the show. Lauren’s Essence of Australia lace gown, paired with her all-white bouquet was a beautiful, elegant choice that allowed Lauren’s natural beauty to shine all day long.
