From Anna Wu Photography…Absolutely everything about Emma and Phil’s wedding was charming. The venue was a culinary institute in the heart of wine country. The colors and all of the flowers were beautiful. And most of all, the bride and groom were so obviously in love and kept tearing up throughout the day. I am so glad to have gotten to know these two since our first meeting and their engagement session months ago; it was such a pleasure to be a part of the wedding day.
From the Bride…Emma and Phil met through mutual friends seven years ago in Montreal, and they started dating right away. Their love story then took them to New York, New Jersey, back to Montreal, and through Ohio in varying periods of long distance and being together. Eventually, they decided they wanted to move somewhere out west, and considered Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco. They settled on the Bay Area, crammed their tiny Chevy Aveo with as much as it would fit, and drove across the country in May 2011. The next few months were pretty stressful, while they looked for jobs, an apartment, and lived off as little money as possible, but it was a great adventure and an opportunity for our relationship to grow. They settled into their new lives in the Bay Area and were so excited for their families and friends to be able to get a glimpse into our new lives when they joined them in California for their wedding celebration.
