Okanagan Winery Wedding

Plain and simple, this wedding is ah-mazing. Honestly, I don’t even know where to start on this beauty captured by Adrian Photography. The florals from Classic Creations are just beyond, and the Bride’s gown? Well there are no words. This gallery is filled with so many jaw-dropping moments you won’t be able to count them, and you can see all the pretty right here.

From Adrian PhotographyThe stunning Bridgette + Dana combined the beautiful vineyards of CedarCreek Winery and the boutique lakeside hotel of Hotel Eldorado perfectly. The wedding ceremony included their dog Lola and a wine box ceremony, with the perfect entrance to their reception in a 100% hand built replica of a 1965 Shelby Cobra (not a kit car) 1100 hrs of labour done by Dana (groom) and his Dad. This couple brought together an amazing team for their wedding day and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you.

From the Bride…The theme of our wedding was shabby chic garden. We were inspired by the immaculate grounds, flourishing rose beds and picturesque views at our ceremony venue, Cedar Creek Winery.  The setting was intimate and the natural beauty seemed like the perfect spot to say “I Do”.  We wanted the colour pallet for the wedding to harmonize with the vineyard during the summer season and chose soft neutral shades of pink, peach, and Ivory.  The décor aside from a few DIY projects including the ribbon headtable backdrop and table runners were supplied by Vintage Origami, a delightful business in Kelowna that offers wedding decorating services and rentals. The owner is truly a master at her craft; not only did she make our day gorgeous and unforgettable, but was very lovely to work with during the entire planning process. One of the most memorable moments for me, aside from seeing my handsome groom at the end of the aisle, was stepping out of the limo and observing the breathtaking display put together using a vintage dresser and how everything we envisioned had come to life.   The garden theme was carried throughout the wedding with matching stationary and signage, an abundance of elegant floral arrangements and my personal favourite, the pickle jar favour table.  Our Mothers’ teamed up together to make homemade pickle jars which were displayed in front of a backdrop made of 45 vintage books.  The reception site was an easy choice, The Hotel Eldorado “The El”, our favourite place to stay and dine at when we are visiting the Okanagan.  The service is always impeccable and the food and drinks are the best in town.   The El went above and beyond to provide us with a custom Ceasar Cocktail bar, which was a hit with all of our guests. I truly can not think of one thing I would of done differently, we are blessed to have experienced our dream wedding.  Every time I look at the pictures it brings tears to my eyes, I could not have dreamt up a more perfect day to become a wife.
