Miss France 2007s Nantes, France Wedding

This is the fairy tale that comes after being named the most beautiful woman in France. Yep, this bride is none other than Miss France 2007. But that moment, I’m sure, was nowhere near the moment she married her love in this stunning wedding from Coralie Photography. It’s magical.

From the beautiful bride… January 2011, first meeting in a Paris restaurant … I knew, at that time, that meant “avoir un coup de foudre!”

Everything went very quickly, six months after our meeting we settled together and we knew we wanted to make our life together… However, the wedding was not in our plans (at least that’s what I thought). In July 2012, we went for a weekend in Bruges (Belgium) and there I got THE demand! Champagne, declaration of love, knee on the floor, and the diamond!

I cried (of happiness of course) during two long hours and called at 1am my mother, who heard me cry and call at this hour, had the scare of her life! I did not sleep that night, I admired my ring, thinking about the date, the place and the wedding dress (yes already!) And from that day, I became completely addicted to everything related to the wedding!

After nights on the internet and endless visits I found the place we wanted, that is a nice place where we could accommodate our family and friends from Friday to Sunday to enjoy them up!

I looked at all blogs (including Style Me Pretty) looking for ideas and everything began to come true. I was fortunate to be well supported by a friend, which is in event organization. My second luck was Coralie Lescieux, our wedding photographer; we got such a good experience with her and thanks to her address book we got wonderful people with us !

After a special night (storm, hail), I woke up curiously quiet… I was happy to marry the man of my life. And I had nothing to think about because my friend Emmanuelle and her sister managed all the details on D-Day!

The Civil wedding was planned with the mayor of Nantes in the morning and the religious ceremony in the afternoon at the church of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil. We had a beautiful ceremony with the singing of Gospel Project and Priest who knew us well and was able to find the right words and speak to believers and non-believers.

Then it was time to party, and the cocktail. Our guests were welcomed by a Caribbean group (Pom K Nel). Everybody danced !

We were very lucky with the weather, rain rain and rain was planned, and a lots of things were outside. And two days before the wedding we had to find tents etc … they had very little use – it rained 5 minutes (phew)!

The atmosphere was in full swing, but because of the timing, it was time for dinner but the party would take over again a few hours later! My best friend was the master of ceremony and he managed all the surprises prepared by our guests perfectly !

To close the dinner, my father had organized the visit of a fire-eater and a firework was wow! And we danced through the night…
