Manitoba Engagement at Grand Beach

You know those couples that are the epitome of adorable?  Those charming sweeties that live like every moment is totally awesome and are sooo in love, it's palpable?  This, my friends, is one of those duos... a stunning twosome who can throw on a pair of crazy cool cowboy boots and frolic in the sand like it's no one's business. From the Bride... Being from sunny Florida, I was hoping we could somehow incorporate a beach into our engagement photo session, the only problem is... I no longer live in Florida, but instead right in the middle of the Canadian prairies! Our amazingly talented photographer Izabela Rachwal came up with the great idea of shooting our engagement photos on the sand dunes at Grand Beach, which are absolutely beautiful.

I knew that our wedding theme would be a shabby chic style and thought that our clothing and accessories for the engagement photos should have that same feel. Izabela worked a vintage quilt into our photos which was handmade by my grandmother, as well as my cowboy boots which Kris and I had bought together on one of our trips to Vegas. It was such a fun experience that left us so excited to be doing the wedding photos with her a few months later!
