High Tea Bridal Shower at Como House

There's no better reason to get together with your best girlfriends and party lady style than a wedding shower. Pop a bottle of bubbly, bust out the pink, and bring on the cupcakes and you've got yourself a day that is absolutely perfect in every way, exactly like this one from Judit Losh!

From the bride to be... For my bridal shower I really wanted to create a fun afternoon tea to share with all my family and friends - think pretty pastel pinks, baby blue and beautiful crisp white! I used the invitations created by Lovefield as my colour inspiration and the rest of the styling just evolved through the planning process.

Hiring a venue that allows you the freedom to style yourself really appealed to me and allowed me to work with a number of excellent vendors. The Stables at Como House have a private function room that looks out onto beautiful gardens and includes a private deck to drink and soak up the sun. The venue was perfect for hosting an afternoon tea and I was blessed with a beautiful sunny summer day! I also hired a professional bartender to take care of cocktails and drinks and it really helped me enjoy the day and spend time with my loved ones!

My bridesmaids, family and close friends all helped set up and organise the venue and really helped me relax and spend time getting pampered before my guests arrived.

I designed a candy bar for guests to take away treats as a thank you gesture. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and now the countdown to the wedding begins!
