Everything about this French-inspired winter wedding shoot makes me believe 2014 is going to be a crazy good year. Because if brides take cue from Caroline Lima + Unveiled Design & Events we’re going to see A LOT of rustic pretty with a fresh new look. Mark my words, plaid will be back and mustard yellow just might be the new hue to watch.
From Caroline Lima Photography and Unveiled Design and Events… The idea for this winter wedding inspiration shoot started when we saw the beautifully manicured gardens and exquisite yet quaint architecture of Fox Hollow. This elegant wedding venue and private residence was designed based on the Tudor period found in the rural south of France.
With that in mind, we included some French elements to the shoot, like the madeleines, the French names on the invitation and place cards and the French style braid on the model. Since plaids are back for the winter, we included these beautifully woven fabrics throughout the details and décor for warmth. To make the shoot full of fun we also included an adorable, playful golden retriever (the color coordinated extremely well with the details), named Ronon.
He also wore a sweet little scarf and a wreath of fresh lush greenery. The romantic and feminine yet fun aspects of the shoot created a loving atmosphere for a winter wedding filled with warm memories. A big thanks to all the vendors involved and also thank you dear friends Mandy, April, Carolyn, Katie, Molly and Jane.
