Lavender Valencia Destination Wedding
I feel like I've been holding back the sweetest secret since the moment I first laid eyes on this Valencia wedding. Jimena Roquero Photography captured a day that was so ridiculously beautiful that holding on to is has been killing me. But today the way is over: here it is!
From the photographer... La Mozaira Hotel, in the heart of the Huerta Valenciana, was the chosen venue where the couple celebrated their super fun bilingual party of love with their friends and families, coming all the way from England and Barbados.
Isabel, together with her business partner Elena Ruiz, designed and overlooked every detail of the wedding. They both run CityShopping Weddings in Valencia.
The wedding was inspired by the flavors and fragrances of the orange fields of Valencia. This was reflected, for example, in the thank you gifts they delivered to their guests: one of the fabulous soaps from Olivia, made of neroli fragrance and sweet orange essential oil. Party Project Studio were in charge of the design of the wedding logo and invitations, where Isabel & Angel included a little bag filled with lavender seeds, for the guests to grow in the Fall to celebrate a new start.
They finished the day dancing to the catchy “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” performed by the original singer of the 70′s band Santa Esmeralda, a personal friend of Isabel’s family.
Last but not least, during the dancing hours, 1,2, 3 ¡Patata!, the funniest photo booth, made a welcome appearance, turning the party into a real success!
