From Amalie Orrange Photography… Kayln & William were married at the gorgeous John’s Island club in Vero Beach, Florida. Kayln & William had a destination wedding escaping the cold weather of Chicago. William grew up going to John’s Island every year with his family and he knew this would be the perfect place to be married. And perfect it was, the day before was raining and 25 mph winds and the skies cleared on their wedding day. They got married on the lawn facing the ocean with 165 of their closest friends and family members witnessing. Kayln chose a beautiful palette with soft grey and hints of pearl throughout the bridesmaids dresses and decor.

From the Bride… We met in the summer of 2010 at a friends house in Chicago who was having a party for the Sheffield Garden Walk. One of my best girlfriends from college went abroad with his best guy friends during their junior year and somehow we never crossed paths until this particular party. After being introduced during our friends party, we bumped into each other again later that night at a bar. We were friends for several months before we officially started dating and the rest is history!

We had been planning on proposing during a weekend trip to NYC but after the epic snowstorm Nemo hit the East Coast, our flights got cancelled. Instead, we decided to go out to dinner for an early valentines day at North Pond and after dinner back at his apartment, he got down on one knee and proposed!
