From Jodie Chapman...Selmin and Toby's wedding took place on New Year's Eve at Claridge's, the legendary Art Deco hotel in the Mayfair area of London. As they got married at 4pm, they decided to have a "first look". The hotel was decked out beautifully for Christmas, including a Christmas tree scene designed by Lanvin. After the ceremony, guests retired to the ballroom for champagne, followed by the meal. In a nod to her Turkish heritage, Selmin and Toby made their entrance behind Turkish musicians playing the "davul zurna". After dinner, Selmin changed from her Sassi Holford dress into a pale purple Jenny Packham number. They then partied until midnight when they had a resounding chorus of "Auld Lang Syne". There were Japanese touches throughout the day as the couple both reside in Japan.
