Alberta Winter Wedding Shoot

This time of year always makes me feel warm and cozy, so when I happen upon a winter shoot like this one I know I simply must share it with all of you at SMP Canada. From Precious Pictures Photography...These photos are from a concept wedding shoot between Dana Smyl and myself, Janice Huser. Dana is a local florist and has also helped plan weddings. The vision of the concept shoot was primarily Dana's, and I simply helped execute the finished product by taking photos. It was a chilly day, but a beautiful day. We took the photos on February 24, 2013, on a frozen lake (Vincent Lake) in the St. Paul, Alberta area. Although there are outdoors weddings in the spring/summer and fall, we felt it would be nice to show people in the colder climates that an outdoor wedding in the middle of winter could be fun, unique and beautiful. Our models for the day were great and we have a lot of eager businesses willing to help us out with the shoot.
