Flora Farms Rehearsal Dinner
There are rehearsal dinners, and then there is this amazing day captured by Alison White Photography, which can only be described as the most fun you've ever had, all wrapped up in some crazy gorgeous scenery. I'm talking a stunning Flora Farms setting hosting lawn games, face painting and all kinds of yummy cotton candy (my favorite). See every joy-filled moment right here in the full gallery.
From Alison White Photography... Most people who get married in Mexico choose a beachside location, and Heather and Matt were no exception. However, for the rehearsal dinner they moved inland and chose Flora Farm for a daytime picnic celebration. Flora Farm is an organic farm, grocery, restaurant, and bar, which also hosts unique and intimate private events.
Heather and Matt aptly named their picnic "Fun on the Farm" as they planned a myriad of activities to keep guests of all ages occupied and entertained. There were yard games such as bocce ball, potato sack races, horseshoes and croquet, as well as hula hooping, face painting and even a caricature artist.
They enjoyed several signature cocktails such as carrot margaritas and the farm julep, and the menu reflected a casual barbeque with local Mexican flair. For dessert, the guests chose from homemade peanut brittle, kettle corn, cupcakes, caramel apples and frozen paletas - a Mexican popsicle.
Heather and Matt created a wonderful event that allowed their friends and family to relax and enjoy a different feeling in Mexico. It was a wonderful precursor to their wedding, which was held on the beach the following evening.
