This is what happens when traditional elegance meets just a dash of modern lovely with all kinds of romance thrown in. A stop-you-in-your-tracks day planned to perfection by Jamie Jones with glittery gold accents (hello chevron table runners), lush florals from Bella Flora of Dallas and a whole lot of magic captured by Sarah Kate Photographer. See them all right here.
From Jamie Jones… Lacy and Clayton were married on August 10, 2013, a hot summer day in Dallas, TX. They were such a joy to work with, and I was happy to guide them through each step of planning their wedding. They chose a classic color palette of whites and blush pinks with soft touches of greenery and gold throughout – a style I would describe as “garden chic” with some added modern touches. We included ghost chairs and a sequin chevron table runner at the head table, which worked flawlessly with their venue, the ultra-stylish and modern Joule Hotel in downtown Dallas.
Lacy and Clayton chose some of Dallas’ best vendors to come together for their big day. From the stunning (and delicious) gold-dusted cake made by Fancy Cakes by Lauren, to the always entertaining band, The Project, guests left this wedding more than satisfied. And of course, one of my personal favorites, Sarah Kate, was there to capture this beautiful day from start to finish.
This wedding had so many fun and personal elements, and one of my favorites was the invitations! We hand-stamped each envelope with colorful vintage stamps which were a fun contrast to the elegant design of the invitations.
It was such a beautiful day and I am so happy that I could have been a part of it. I wish Lacy and Clayton a lifetime of happiness!
