Mallerie and Tom chose a gorgeous historic property called The Addison for their Boca Raton wedding. When designing the look and feel of the wedding day, Mallerie envisioned a day infused with her bohemian spirit and filled with personal touches and whimsy. While the classic architecture of the venue set the stage, the gorgeous old banyan trees that fill the courtyard where the ceremony and reception were held really set the mood. Softly glowing lights were strung from the branches, creating a canopy of sparkle over the aisle and dance floor. We incorporated both round tables and family-style wooden tables, which were topped with a colorful mix of florals, assorted glassware and three types of candles. The main color palette was coral and lavender, accented with a variety of warm jewel tones, gold and chocolate brown. Mallerie wanted each table to look a bit different, so pieces were mixed and matched to give the design an effortless yet cohesive look. Gold-rimmed glassware and golden flatware added an elegant touch to the colorful tablescape. Escort cards were attached to unique drawer pulls sourced from Anthropologie, and served as a guest favor, along with sweet personalized packets of wildflower seeds. Guests finished off the night with an ice cream sundae and root beer float station to satisfy their sweet tooth before boarding the trolley that took them back to their hotels. It was a beautiful night, filled with friends, family and fun.
