From Tess Pace Photography…Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado sets the backdrop for Olivia and Daniel’s magical wedding. This adorable couple’s complete adoration for one another was evident in the quiet glances they exchanged throughout the day and it was an honor and joy to share in their special day. Everything, from the hand-made details, to the opulent floral, to Olivia’s stunning Liancarlo dress, was nothing short of spectacular… not to mention the A-List team of creatives brought together, which were all an absolute privilege to work alongside. Need I say more? This day was perfect.

From Jolene with Calluna Events…From our first meeting late one night at Daniel’s very own chic shop in Cherry Creek, Denver, Revampt, I knew this wedding would be special. I met with Olivia and Daniel in mid-March and was told that they were gearing up to have their wedding the first weekend in June – less than three months away. They had their venue and their vision, and that was about it. I was so excited to jump in headfirst and begin the planning process.

Olivia had a crystal clear vision from day one. Her stylish sophistication was evident in her Pinterest page filled with peonies, a neutral blush palette, chandeliers, soft wood touches, candles galore, and of course sparkly Jimmy Choos. My mission was clear. I wanted to bring her Pinterest page to life in a matter of weeks, ensure every detail was delivered, and to make every moment of the big day magical and stress-free.

In my role as “ringmaster” I sincerely appreciated the value of having Olivia and Daniel’s trust from day one and I helped keep everyone on track during the planning process. They both were so busy running their own businesses and are a true family of entrepreneurs. We set a timeline and had weekly “to dos” and watched it all come to life. We started right away by confirming our hand-selected vendors and tying up any lose ends with the venue – all very important elements to executing an event like this in a few months. Devil’s Thumb Ranch was a pleasure to work with and was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s elegant affair.

We worked together with the fabulous florist, lighting vendor, and rental company, to create the “mood” of the event. Daniel took time out of his wild workweek to hand-make a few exceptional pieces for the wedding – including their escort card display (they grew the wheat grass together) and a very unique Colorado welcome bag. Olivia always had her guests’ comfort in mind and ordered custom blush-colored pashminas to keep guests warm during the stunning outdoor ceremony.

Overall, the whole wedding weekend was wonderful and Tess Pace and her team captured each and every detail to tell the story. I can’t help but smile when I see the photos and think about being a part of such a special celebration.

I admired Olivia and Daniel throughout the entire process because they were truly such a team and made decisions together. Having been together for over a decade, it was clear to me that their relationship was built purely on love, trust, passion and mutual respect. Not only were they such a beautiful bride and groom, but they represent a beautiful partnership and maintain almost an Old World romance. They were truly a pleasure to work with and we can’t wait for the… baby shower?

From Tara with The Perfect Petal…Olivia & Daniel’s wedding was defined by the pairing of elegant, sophisticated romance with a natural Colorado vista. Echoing the warm wood structure of the Broad Axe Barn at Devil’s Thumb Ranch with long wood feasting tables, The Perfect Petal introduced profusions of lush open blooms such as blush peonies, delicate sweet peas, white ranunculus, feathery pale pink astilble and cafe au lait dahlias. Cut glass candelabras, mercury pressed glass, and sparkling crystal chandeliers suspended from the rafters added a refined glow. Blush silk dupioni on the bouquets paired well with the silk dupioni cloths for round tables, featuring silver compote bowls filled with layers of white floral and hints of pale pink jasmine vine. Suspended floral and candlelight atop a handmade wood board created a unique focal in front of candlelight filled hearth.

From Devil’s Thumb Ranch…For Daniel and Olivia’s special day we transformed our civil war era barn into a romantic and memorable venue sure to leave long lasting memories for the bride and groom as well as their guests for years to come. Cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres were served on the over-sized patio underneath the gorgeous bluebird skies with sweeping views of the continental divide. Guests were treated to delicacies such as Venison Meatballs with Sherry and Gorgonzola and Stuffed Black Mission Fig with Duck Prosciutto from award-winning Executive Chef Evan Treadwell.
