I’ve been a bit weepy all morning, and this stunning North Carolina wedding from Eric Boneske is to blame. The couple is so gorgeous and their wedding so beautiful, my eyes have been leaking since the moment I laid eyes on that beautiful bouquet from Fiore Fine Flowers. I’m going to insist that you head into the gallery to see this beautiful day in full – but bring the tissues!
From the planner… When Patrick was ready to propose to Natalie he had a family heirloom for the ring. With the ring being in the family to decided to make the proposal over the top and he succeeded! Patrick came up with a story about how he won a 3 day trip to Paris from a contest and even backed it up with fake documentation from the contest and a travel agent. While over there with the eiffel tower as the back drop Patrick got down on one knee and surprised Natalie with a proposal which she of course said yes! She then learned the lengths he went to to surprise her!
Natalie and Patrick live in the Charlotte area but went to school at UNCW in Wilmington so when they got engaged they knew Wilmington was the place for them. They choose Brooklyn Arts Center easily and then we began planning all based off of 3 elements vintage, mercury glass and an amazing floral picture Natalie had pinned on Pinterest.
Natalie and her mother purchased mercury glass decor elements along with an eclectic mix of lanterns which were used throughout the the wedding day. Natalie’s mother made lace runners that adorned the farm tables and Fiore did an incredible job bringing Natalie’s vision to life. It was so important to Natalie for the flowers to have a certain look and Natalie could not have been happier. The bridesmaids were so blown away by the bouquets, they placed tags on the bouquet they wanted to hold during the ceremony.
The couple wanted a cocktail hour feel for the reception so we mixed farm tables with lounge furniture for the layout of the reception space. Pine Valley Market passed appetizers throughout the night along with food stations placed around the room for guests to enjoy at their leisure!
Guests enjoyed the music as well as the photo booth throughout the night! Natalie wanted to make sure to embrace all of the marriages in her family so we had her mother and grandmother’s wedding dresses on display as well as several pictures of couples on their wedding day from both the bride and groom’s side.
