Villa Botanica is this lovely little seaside gem in Queensland where saying "I do" is straight from a movie romantic.  So pair that always-amazing locale with a bride and groom who are the epitome of perfection and, well... it's a wedding that is most definitely worthy of an entire day of gallery gazing.  Think pretty pink hues, lush florals from Flower Hut and all kinds of crazy gorgeousness styled by I Do Events Whitsundays.  Don't miss a moment captured by Lisa Michele Burns in the full gallery.

From the Bride... I wanted a unique venue and I wanted our guests to be able to enjoy themselves & relax. Having a destination wedding was perfect for this vision, as all of our friends and family took time off work to be there for our special day. I wanted blue sky and a tropical backdrop for our photos and Villa Botanica was the perfect venue. As soon as I found it online, no other venue could compare.

I wanted our decor to be simple, elegant, and subtly matching with the bridesmaid dresses. I wanted everything to match but in a very subtle way. The bridesmaid dresses were a dusty pink, so I incorporated this colour in the table decorations and stationery, but without overpowering the room with too much pink.

As our reception came to an end, we released a lantern into the sky. It was such a beautiful moment watching the lantern float into the starry night. We just watched the lantern in silence and it was a beautiful moment for us both to take the day in.
