Ever since I saw the first Hunger Games movie I’ve literally been counting down to the next. Yep, I’m one of those. And while the wait felt like an eternity, I’m happy to say Catching Fire is now at a theater near you. So being the wedding bloggers we are, we decided to celebrate the best way we know how. A Hunger Games-inspired shoot, of course. Crafted by the likes of Closer to Love Photography, Bella Bloom Floral Design and Life in the Sunset, it’ll put you in the movie watching mood faster than you can say “Team Peeta!”
From Closer to Love Photography… After watching the new “Hunger Games: Catching Fire” movie trailer this Summer, I was inspired to contact our favorite Vendors in the Southern California area to help create a Hunger Gamers Inspired Session with a romantic twist, incorporating white, pearl, gold, hints of brown and black. Wanting the Session to have an Autumn feel as well, we wanted to integrate fall-inspired hues organically into the design – bird feathers, rustic jewelry, white roses, arrows, and antique clocks can be found throughout the design. Our model Bride and Groom are a real engaged couple, getting married in just a few short months! Ultimately, it was the love between Katniss and Peeta that inspired us to create a Session that was so romantic, organic, and full of timeless love.
