Hazy Meadow Ranch Shoot from Natalie and Parker Bray
I crave inspiration like some people crave chocolate, so this shoot from Natalie and Parker Bray is acting as my delicious dose of prettiness for the day. With music as the inspiration, this talented team of vendors dreamt up a shoot that is sure to pretty up your day, and you can see it all right here.
From Natalie Bray...Inspiration can be found from many places. Music makes people smile and evokes memories that can last a lifetime. So why not use it as an inspiration for a Wedding :). Our Inspiration started with classic song from Louis Armstrong..."A Kiss to Build a Dream on". The sweet melodies make me swoon with delight as I picture soft hues of pinks, mint, and creams with lots of golden light from our friend the sun :).
And our concept was born. A soft, feminine, and classic inspiration.
I, Natalie, did all the styling and DIY crafting for this shoot. It was so fun! I love creativity and working with talented people. Here is a description of all the lovely vendors involved...hope you love it!
It all started with the florals. I am a sucker for gorgeous blooms and Green Fresh Florals is one of the best! They created simple stunning arrangement of flowers with succulents, peonies, aster, and sweet peas. All perfectly placed to create an effortless bouquet and feminine center piece. The vessel for the centerpiece was found at an antique store and was used as an old drawer back in the day. It was perfectly distressed and a new way to use a found object. Love that!
Calligraphy is an amazing talent. Molly Jacques makes it look fun and effortless, which fit wonderfully with our concept. She created a large "A Kiss to Build a Dream on" print to display on a table or share at a Wedding. She also, hand drew table cards and menu's to complete the look. Her work is incredibly beautiful.
I am a sucker for sweets and on my Wedding day the cake was such a treat. Azucar makes the sweetest, most delectable desserts. Vivian created a 2 tiered, hand stamped sugary goodness for the shoot with touches of pink and gold to compliment the styling. M bride has the most divine dresses and we chose a whimsical dream of sweet ruffles and tulle to accent the soft pinks and sweet nature of the inspiration song. Lots of kisses happened between the bride and groom lol! Make-up and hair I wanted to be effortless, natural, and feminine. Atelier Aucoin truly brought this vision to life with touches of soft pinks and bold eyes. Teal Green Designs provided the vintage furniture to complete the look. Hazy Meadow Ranch is a sprawling, green vintage inspired Wedding space in San Diego, ca. It provided the perfect backdrop to coalesce our concept.
Glitter, yes it can be used in so many ways and brought full circle the idea of the golden sun. So we used glitter to create a table number and table runner. So simple and sparkly for every bride. Plates and silverware from Anthropologie...added a pop of color to the table scape. Fun and matched the color scheme perfectly. Enjoy stamps were used from Olivemama.com to welcome guests to enjoy the delectable menu and have fun!
Created silk curtain banner with "dream" overhead for a soft reminder to let your love let you dream...and it starts with a kiss.
