Puerto Rican Wedding from Hoo Films

From the cinematographer... From the minute I sat down with Jing and Larry to discuss the details of their day, I knew it was going to be special. They had thought through each and every detail to be sure each moment meant something to the both of them. They chose to have their destination wedding at the Ritz Carlton Reserve in Dorado Beach, which is one of two six star Ritz Carlton resorts in the world…and wow, this place was beyond amazing! And large. Very large. After many challenges and living on separate sides of the Pacific Ocean from one another, they decided to have their fairytale wedding in the Caribbean in Puerto Rico. The weather at Dorado Beach was absolutely perfect on the day of the wedding. Not too hot, not too windy, not too bright. The sun and clouds were just ridiculous and no matter which direction you looked, the scenery was beyond gorgeous.

Jing and Larry decided not to have a photographer for this wedding so that they could just focus on creating a film that captured their story. What an honor! (But, um, no pressure) I am so thrilled I got to work with Jing and Larry for this amazing day and I truly feel it was not even work. Jing and Larry, and their families were beyond amazing to be around. Jing is graceful and Larry charming. You could just feel the happiness radiating in every moment. With their beautiful vows and breathtaking scenery, this film documents the magic that was their wedding day. And so this begins their happily ever after…
