I’ve always been a girl’s girl. You know — the sort who prefers skirts to jeans; sparkles to sports. So as you can imagine, this pretty-filled Provence shoot is just my cup of tea. It’s girly glam to the core with planning and design all thanks to CountDown Events. (And that Ines Di Santo gown from the lovely Blush Bridal? Don’t even get me started!) Melissa Gidney knocked our socks off with this full gallery of gorgeousness, and you can get in on the fun right over here.
From CountDown Events Planning & Design… Inspired by the glamour of Provence. We created a setting of natural and relaxed luxury. The Ines Di Santo gown led the way for a romance inspired creative. The long stone wall in the meadow and the beautiful canopy of the trees lend themselves to a European setting.
The colors for the table design were many shades of green, with a punch of color from Tree Peonies in yellow and pink, white exotic blooms, jasmine vine and some metallic accents set against a natural linen. We created an eclectic feel for the table design utilizing both gold flatware, taupe grey ceramic flatware and silver vintage mercury glassware.
A very romantic but regal feel throughout all of the design details. Old world grandeur; the gown was the epitome of soft feminine lace edges – an overall majestic theme was established using gorgeous blooms, gold and mercury accents along with some amazing hand calligraphed stationery. A beautiful blend of luxury and serene natural splendor.
