I’m fighting every urge in my body to let the girly “oh my gods” gush out of me right now. This wedding, from Lauren Methia Photography, has done it. The couple, the flowers from Winston Flowers, the beautiful sunset on the beach, the colors… it’s brought out my inner wedding nerd, and I’m loving it. Everything is so beyond perfect, it’s kind of ridiculous.

From the Bride and Groom… We met and fell in love as students at Tufts University. After six years of creating wonderful memories together, from study sessions in the library to weekend getaways exploring new cities, we were both excited to get married and start our life together as husband and wife. Greater Boston has been home to both of us for many years, our dream was to get married within Massachusetts, in a venue that would be a fun and memorable retreat for our friends and family traveling from all over the world to celebrate our special day. After visiting Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Cape Cod, we knew that it was the perfect venue for beach-loving souls like us.

True to our heritage, our wedding was performed in customary Hindu style with elements of Western culture interspersed within. The wedding was held on the Mansion’s front lawn, followed by cocktails on the terrace overlooking the ocean, and the reception in the ballroom. Indian weddings are large, full of color, and particularly busy, and our wedding was no different. It was exciting to see the long hours and months of planning culminate so beautifully in a day we’ll remember forever. The ballroom decor, by Winston Flowers, was especially amazing. Lauren Methia Photography was not only able to prepare extensively for the weekend and capture it beautifully, but was also adept at adjusting on the fly with ease to overcome changes in the itinerary seamlessly. Lauren’s attention to detail and talent was a source of comfort to us, not only during the wedding weekend, but also the entire planning process.
