People have many reasons for loving Manhattan. The style, the pace, the food – it’s all unlike anywhere else in the world. But my favorite thing about the city that never sleeps is the people. Because after pouring over hundreds (ok, probably thousands) of weddings in the City, I would say that’s where the style comes from. From Jimena… Jennifer and Ryan’s elegant wedding took place in New York, where they are from and where they live. They picked The Cathedral Basilica of St. James in Brooklyn because they wanted to have some of their own neighborhood since the reception would be held at The Bowery Hotel, in Manhattan, later. The ceremony was a Jewish and Catholic ceremony. For the pictures, Jennifer and Ryan drove Jennifer’s dad’s vintage Mercedes Benz to Vinegar Hill, a very meaningful area for them since they got engaged at a very cozy restaurant that was also incorporated in the pictures.
