Comfort, Texas Wedding at The Hill Country Cathedral from Stephanie Hunter
If for whatever reason my day isn't going the way I like, I always turn to SMP Texas. I know one look at all the sweetness sitting in the archives and there will be an instant smile on my face. This beauty by Stephanie Hunter Photography? Well it's going to be my go-to smile-inducer from now on. It's overflowing with charm and love and prettiness, making this gallery one happy place to be today.
From Stephanie... This sweet, down-home wedding was chalk full of family oriented details with a color scheme that would be appropriate for any season! Deidra and Jake are Aggies to the core, so it seems fitting that they settled on maroon as their main color choice. Soft ivory complemented the pops of maroon and lent a classic feel to the day.
The Hill Country Cathedral in Comfort, Texas was an amazing backdrop for Deidra and Jake's wedding. The reception boasted many DIY details from a family tree that featured collected photos of family members to the organic, vintage inspired centerpieces that were made up of milk glass vases, grapevine wreaths, antlers & doilies that belonged to family members. To round off the family feel, Deidra and Jacob decided to display both their mothers’ and grandmothers’ wedding dresses during the reception. In lieu of a traditional guestbook, they used fabric quilt squares for guests to sign and offer advice on a happy marriage . The fabric squares were later sewn into their first heirloom as a married couple. What a lovely wedding to photograph!
